Our first time using the People Link could not have been a better experience. Upon interviewing our first candidate sent to us by Mya we knew right away that People Link knew what they were doing. My wife and I are busy professionals and so didn't feel we had the time to sort through tons of applicants in order to find the perfect person. Mya helped me place a legal secretary in my office and working with her was a pleasure. She really took the responsibility of finding a qualified candidate for us. She didn’t waste my time with a lot of unqualified candidates. In fact they were all qualified. Her screening methods were great, including using her proprietary testing as a screener. The tests are a great objective way to identify good and bad candidates before even meeting them. Mya only sent me very select, qualified candidates. I only interviewed 4 candidates and ended up hiring the first one I interviewed. She’s competent and trustworthy – unlike many other recruiters I’ve worked with in the past.

I have worked with Mya for the last three years on clerical and administrative personnel needs with great success. She found us the best Accounts Receivable Supervisor that our Clinic has ever had. The single most challenging position that I have to hire for, however, is that of Physical Therapist. We have had two (2), full time, permanent openings for the last year. I currently have five (5) agencies who specialize ONLY in PT placement working for us full time, trying to fill the openings. In the past, I’ve used telephone tech schools as a source for employees. My reasoning was that they had some of the basics and would be easier to train. Unfortunately, most of the people I hired didn’t fit my idea of an ideal person. You understood the type of person I needed. I was able to train these guys very quickly. As we had one type of work to do, they paid attention as I showed them what to do and then they did it. The speed wasn’t good to start with but they picked up speed as they got going. In one week I had both guys trained and felt comfortable leaving them alone. They moved up to the second pay scale after a week – faster than any employee I’ve ever had before…

I am so thankful to The People Link for finding my receptionist, who will soon be my Office Manager!! Hey, I just wanted to let you know that when I moved to CA you were the only person I had spoken to regarding employment. I arrived having already set up an interview with Charlie and was offered the job before I was in LA for a week. The winds of fickle fortune were not being kind to me. I had been out of work for two months and things were getting pretty bleak. There had been a couple of false starts and some pickup work at a very low pay but nothing substantial. Thirteen professional employment agencies had turned up nothing lasting, nothing real.
